Privacy notice
How Controlpacketgrid handles personal data from this website and from enquiries. This notice is written for readers, not as a wallpaper of clauses.
Data controller
Controlpacketgrid is the controller for personal data collected through controlpacketgrid.digital and through email or telephone enquiries to the studio. Postal address: 58 South Western Terrace; Milton; AB56 6QN; United Kingdom. Telephone: 078 6552 5294. Email: info@controlpacketgrid.digital.

What we collect and why
If you only browse, we may store a cookie preference in your browser (see cookies) and, if you accept analytics cookies, limited page-use information such as which programme pages were opened. That processing is based on consent where the law requires it, and on legitimate interests in understanding which teaching pages are actually read where consent is not the right basis for a strictly necessary storage.
If you send the enquiry form, we receive your name, email, optional topic, and message. We use that to reply, to judge whether a programme is a fit, and to keep a short record of the correspondence. The basis is steps toward a potential contract and our legitimate interest in running a small teaching desk without a sales machine.
If you later enrol, we will collect invoicing details under a separate confirmation. This website does not take payment and therefore does not collect card numbers.
Retention
Enquiry messages are kept for up to twenty-four months after the last reply, unless you ask us to delete sooner and no invoice is outstanding. Cookie choices live in your browser until you clear storage; we do not keep a parallel server profile of that choice on this static site. If a paid term proceeds, invoice and attendance records are kept for six years to meet United Kingdom accounting expectations, then reviewed for deletion or anonymisation.
Analytics events, if you consented, are kept in aggregate form for at most thirteen months. We do not need a longer trend line for a studio of this size.
Who we share with
Hosting and email infrastructure may process data as processors under our instruction. We do not sell lists. We do not pass enquiry contents to advertising networks. Guest operators who sit a viva see only what you choose to present in the room.
International transfers
Some processors (for example a host or an email provider) may store data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens we rely on an adequacy decision where one exists, or on standard contractual clauses plus a transfer assessment. Image files on this site are requested by your browser directly from public image hosts; those hosts have their own notices. We choose them for illustration, not as a joint controller of your browsing beyond what their services independently collect.
Your rights
Depending on your situation you may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, or portability of personal data we hold. You may withdraw cookie consent without losing access to programmes, essays, or the form. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office in the United Kingdom if you believe we have mishandled your data. We would rather hear from you first at info@controlpacketgrid.digital.
We will not require you to create an account to exercise a right. Write from the email you used, or post to the Milton address, and allow one month for a substantive reply unless the law allows a longer period for a complex request.
Children
Programmes are aimed at professional operators. We do not knowingly collect data from children through this site.
Automated decisions
We do not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Seat offers are made by a person at the desk.
